Excerpt from Nola.com on Saints camp

quote:

On the other side, running back Alvin Kamara nearly faked the shoes off linebacker Manti Te'o on a pass route in individual drills. That may have been the loudest reaction from the Tuesday crowd. Kamara continues to be a player to watch within this offense.

He is going to make some LBs miserable

Super elusive guy with a good head on his shoulders. He'll do very well. Wish we still had him

Edit; said below. It's criminal that Hurd started over him

I think he'll be a star. He seems like a great fit for what the saints do. I'll never forget how frustrated the Tennessee fans around me got every time Hurd got tackled for a 1 yard gain after Kamara had just had that insane game vs. A&M the week before

I bet Teo was so embarrassed afterwards that he wishes that he'd never existed

I was very excited when the Saints drafted him, he's a perfect back for our system

I'm hoping to draft him late in my keeper league this year, should do well this year and really turn some heads next.

Yea especially considering that Ingram and Peterson have both gotten banged up in past seasons

We told you guys he would be a star in that offense. He's a great fit and I will be rooting for him in New Orleans despite being a die hard Steelers fan.

The NFC South is going to be a solid/tough division this year.

Yeah, he tore up our defense that game. Not that that was so difficult to do,but I walked away from that game very impressed with Kamara.
