What if the committee thinks they were absolute dogshit on the road.
2 OT wins against Kentucky (2-6) and Miss St.(1-7)
losses at Ohio st., Florida (2-6), and blown out by Georgia

Is it that big of a conspiracy that they have 3 losses?

3 losses and we will not get in because of it. How is this a conspiracy?

They won't get in because of 3 losses. One of the losses being to 4-8 UF, combined with close wins over Mississippi State and a Kentucky team that lost 41-0 to Louisville are icing on the cake.

This is in response to everyone talking about scheduling big OOC games, records against top 10 teams, etc.
The biggest issue for Texas is that they were a terrible road team....that resulted in the 3 losses and 2 miracle wins.
a Jekyll & Hyde team

*tinfoil hat not detected*
That said, no playoff team played 5 top 10 teams and beat 3 of them.
Yes we shite the bed down in the swamp, but how many favored SEC teams have gone down there and come away with an L historically? I'd guess quite a few. Also that was the game the players who committed to Billy were desperately trying to save his job. That's not an excuse for losing, but most people don't take that into account.
We aren't going to the playoffs this year, any Texas fan that thinks we still have a chance will be disappointed. That said, looking at the field I don't see any playoff team (including the mighty suckeyes) that this Texas team couldn't beat on a good night. /Fin
