Advanced statistics don't always tell the truth either. Like a pretty girl, they're fun to look at until you have to get to know her and see what lies beneath the makeup and the righteous sweater donkeys. Statistics also show that BIG XII defenses performed better than every conference except the B1G until last night.
But that being said, our defense is a complete shitshow and there's no doubt about that. Puffs of smoke are already starting to emanate from Norman surrounding some of the staff.

Advanced statistics said OU was like Missouri.
OU fans disagree.
And after giving up 300+ rushing yards and 50+ points, you are confirming how much you suck.
OU likes to beat your chest about conference championships and national relevance.
But the reality is that your best is never good enough (relative to inter-conference play).

We're not a complete team. That's what I meant by that, and that's what I said in the OP.

There's some disappointment with how he called the game late, for sure.
Yea I mean I know it's his first year and all and there's a lot to like going forward but he 100% cost your team the game yesterday.

forgot how shitty of a runner Baker is despite him being advertised as 'highly mobile'. Dude couldn't escape a sack to save his life
Well, not everyone has the escapability of stidham

Yeah but advanced statistics also said that Georgia was going to shut down OU and Mayfield with the mind-numbing stout defensive play. Not to mention that many bulldog fans on here said the Sooners were one dimensional. Except Anderson ran for like 200 yards on your stout defense, and Mayfield played a hell of a game. You all were fortunate to get it to overtime. Be grateful to advance. Don’t be like a dickhead gump fan.

Wasn't on Riley 100% but he contributed down the stretch for sure.
Lining up in a 2-4-5 with a 238lb OLB outside the tackle with his hand in the dirt on 3rd and 7 with Michel in the backfield is the kind of nonsense you should be fired for. You're daring Georgia to be Georgia and that's what they did, all the way to the house.
This is baldfaced incompetence.

Several of us were clamoring that the biggest key was going to be to stop the run. OU being one dimensional is a myth. They've had great running games since Riley got there as OC.

Ummm. No. It said that Georgia would hold OU below their average for yards and points.
OU topped the points average but was short of the yards (which is significant for 2 overtimes).

Our Freshman QB audibled into that play.

Correct.
I never said OU was 1 dimensional. But I expected UGA to sell out to stop the run. We didnt force more guys onto the line until the second half. It wasn't until we stacked the line of scrimmage that we won the line of scrimmage (kudos to a very good OU OL).

UGA held OU to 3 points in OT... that says a good bit...

Precisely. A true freshman QB audibled into that play on 3rd and 7 against a veteran DC making $920,000 per year. That's how stupid and easy that was.

To be fair to fromm... he's done that to a lot of overpaid DCs all season. He's only 19, but he is another coordinator out there. It is a big reason why he never lost the job.

Seems like a Heisman QB would have audibled out of those East/west play calls late in the game... at least he looks dreamy in a head band...

I am 52 years old and can't remember ever seeing a top rank team get run on like that...it was embarrassing.

You have no idea how satisfying it was sitting there in section 7L watching OU fans scatter like cockroaches when Michel scored thay final TD.
And yes, my 401k is just fine thank you.
