Not sure I belive all of this, but if true, I apologize for the few assholes. I didn't personally witness anything bad and haven't witnessed anything bad in a loooong time. In fact, I had a group of USCe fans tell me they were shocked by how friendly and hospitable our fans were.

I literally think everything you've said about your so called trip is false. I honestly believe you didn't even go.

This.

He posted yesterday that he got hit with a drink while the game was still going on. I can't even get a text out with in TS...yet he was able to get on and post a two paragraph diatribe while supposedly at the game.

Then he managed to get back to his car, navigate through the contra flow and get all the way to Hammond just to change his shirt...then drive back to BR to go to the bars?

Then drive back to Hammond after the bars closed at 2 a.m.?

If he was in his own car that means he drove to the game (with a group of people I assume), so did they all drive "back to Hammond" with you just to change your shirt? Also that means he would be driving all the way back to S.C. today...weird that you would want to be out that late and want to be partying all night with that kind of drive ahead of you...

Also had to drive all the way back to my hotel in Hammond just to change clothes so I could hit up some bars in Baton Rouge

I live in Hammond so I can tell you this was a horrible decision if you actually drove that far just to change. I didn't get home until around 12:30 and I know several ways to circumvent traffic that I'm sure you don't.

I have to agree with everyone else and say you weren't even at the game.

LOL @ sitting near the LSU student section then complaining about the fans.

There's a reason they put the away fans on the exact opposite corner of the stadium.

Exactly! I was in 215 and when the last TD was scored cups and drinks were flying all over the student section and surrounding sections. If a USC fan got wet, it was not personal.

I saw lots of LSU and USC fans hanging out and partying together.

I also saw a group of USC drunks talking trash and screaming at LSU fans before the game about what USC was going to do to us. Like anything else, I wrote it off as a very small % of dumbasses that exist everywhere.

Most of the USC folks were great.

Well said.

The walk to the stadium was a little different however

Just out of curiosity, was this along Nicholson Drive on the side of the train tracks a little south of TS? I'm an LSU fan and I hate going past them.

Regardless, sorry about the bad stuff.

I'm calling BS as you wouldn't have gotten to Hammond until after midnight and the bars close at 2.

I didn't get HOME until midnight and I live right off of siegen. I call total BS on the hammond thing That traffic on campus was a nightmare. I guess that's the price you pay when people actually stay the entire game

I wish we could get all the bad liquored up fans in one stadium and let them fight it out. I would pay big bucks to be a fan watching them all try and beat each other up. It would make for great television. Then maybe we would not have to deal with them anymore.

I love how you can see all the drinks being thrown after a big play in Tiger Stadium when the boom camera pans across the student section. Nobody cares about getting wet after a big sack or huge TD.

Why would someone make this up?

If they were going to come up with some reason why getting wet from flying drinks was so horrible, there are better things to say.

It could have been. It was on the south side of the stadium. But don't worry I don't base my experience on a few bad apples. I hung out with LSU fans all day tailgating, partying, playing beer pong etc. and had a great time. I would love to make the trip again. Of course with the new schedules who knows when we will even play again, let alone in Baton Rouge. All in all the fans around us were some of the most hospitable that I have seen anywhere and I have been to a lot of different places.

Because, if you use your brain, logistically, it doesn't work.

It doesn't make any sense. Got it.

The traffic coming out from the stadium was a nightmare last Saturday night, because everyone stayed till the game was completely over. For a visiting fan that doesn't know the LSU campus very well and BR, they weren't getting to Hammond until well after 1:00 am.

Why would anyone sit in all that traffic for that long, get to Hammond after 1:00 am, change clothes and drive 30 minutes back to BR just to hang out in a bar for 15 minutes or so before they close at 2:00 am?

No one is. That's why the poster called BS.

maybe your car got keyed at your house then if you just noticed it today. im not buying your story either. I was all over campus and had quite a few USC fans in our section. Not once did I see any of them get harassed. We had some friendly jabs going in the fourth quarter but that was it!

ETA: frick!! passed a thousand and never even noticed

Do not perpetuate that unoriginal, incorrect, stupid insult stolen by Auburn fans in the last decade.

Its not even clever.

yeah, it took us a while to get off campus and we got a ride out on a golf cart to a house a few blocks away. By the way, to those whose almost fell victim to our drunken golf cart trip, I'm truly sorry
