Academic player of the week!

Sounds like all he needed was a change of scenery to get back to the way he was in high school. The toxic culture in BR was clearly not a good place for him.

Can't pass classes at LSU, immediate academic star at UGA. Georgia curriculum not what it was cracked up to be.

Also, I love how Lassiter is simply listed as “freshman” rather than “offense” or “defense”

That's because they award the best offensive, defensive and freshman player each week...

Is he going to be allowed to play this season while he starts medical school?

Arik had a very good reputation in high school, and now he’s thriving at UGA. Seems pretty clear that LSU was the problem, not him. Not really surprising considering the rape culture and whatnot.

I feel bad for the kid. He just wasn't cool with all the gang rape at LSU. He had to get out

It makes me wonder about all of the players who AREN'T transferring from LSU tbh

Heard these are the only required materials for the sort of classes he's taking.
