I'll be honest, I wouldn't be sad if Allen transferred. I'm quite frankly tired of hearing about him when his defense is poor enough to not make up for when he has a cold streak (which happens far more than his hot streaks at this point). He has poor movement off the ball. He's a poor man's Kyle Wiltjer at best at this point. I don't care if he's from the state of Kentucky or not.
I'd love to see Ware after a full, non-COVID off-season of strength training. I'd be tickled to have Mintz back. Toppin has his moments and has some potential. Askew could be better with another year but we need someone else at PG.

I'll be interesting in seeing Askew with a real off-season/pre-season.
Obviously Payne leaving made a dent. But I think the lack of pre-season/early season and having to follow isolating COVID procedures really fricked with the development of the younger players. I don't think it's any coincidence we've seen some typical coaches like Izzo, Coach K, and Roy struggle as a result. Cal is obviously the bottom of that bunch in what has happened this season, but he's not alone in that drop off either.
