Austin has always been a liberal city. I believe you are talking about the progressives who have taken over city government. On this point I agree. Those cockroaches can frick right off.
They did the same thing in Denver and Boulder. It's one reason I refuse to live in the larger cities

Believe me if you want, but I just got word from a big money donor at Texas on what they’re doing.

It seems that’s They’re waiting for Tennessee to finish and they’re going to offer Tennessee coach regardless. If he accepts then they will immediately fire pierce announce Vitello as the coach. If he doesn’t they may end up giving pierce another year. But the point is they’re waiting on Tennessee to finish.

Nope. It’s Schloss.
Sorry for your loss. Good luck in the Series.

You may have, in fact, heard from a booster but history shows a lot of them think they know what's going on but don't. CDC doesn't always tell them what's going on because he knows damn well a lot of boosters have loose lips. It's been a problem for a long time and one of the things CDC had to get a grip on when he got here.
Trust me when I say that booster probably doesn't know what's going on with the search. Time will tell though.

Nobody knows what Texas is going to do, except possibly somebody like KR.

Let’s put a pin in this thread then, okay?

Until an announcement is made, let’s keep the posts relegated to angry aggys who are absolutely positive that their guy would never leave.

Schloss has the opportunity to build an unparalled legacy at A&M and can make just as much money.

Probably hates the embarrassing traditions. Those fans last week might've been the final straw.

I'm not absolutely positive. I'm pretty confident but that isn't the same thing.

it seems to me all those same Aggies also said that Texas would never join the SEC.. they doubted CDC back then too..

Hyde Park still feels pretty genuine to me. I do miss what's now gone, however.
There’s a couple of spots left that haven’t been gobbled up by soulless investors and tech bros. Lamar, SoCo & east Austin are unrecognizable. Of course, our company, in conjunction with UT, helped transform the Red River & West Campus areas. So, I guess I can’t say much.

BTW, if bigbopper is the levy guy on TexAgs as has been theorized, he is a well known troll.

Levy, you mean the guy who was on the TexAgs baseball forum earlier today wagering a ban bet that Schloss to texas is a done deal with a "sorry for your loss" attitude?

I can't imagine anyone here fits that profile.

BTW, some of you Ags need to realize you're being goaded on by some of these horns at this point. They ain't got nothing better to do with their team at home this week and you'regiving them their moneys worth with some of your takes/responses.

Too funny, my responses are ignored from the Texas posters as they doesn't like what I'm saying.

Again, Texas has ZERO chance to hire either Schloss or Johnson. Those conversations are over with CDC. Period the end. This I know absolutely.

Vitello? That I have no personal knowledge about him other than knowing TN and their facilities and committment to him. Unless Texas gives him a $100M contract (exaggerated), just never going to happen.

I absolutley do think that CNC wants Vitello as his new #1 at this point, considering Schloss and Johnson have said "No". He would certainly be the splash hire that CDC so desperately needs to stay relevant. But I will eat crows if he is hired.

In fact, I will ban myself from SEC Rant if Texas is able to hire: Vitello. Best shot is Van Horn or Sullivan. That's it.
