Someone fed this story to Thamel. My quess it is the same source as Kirk McNair, the question is why now. This would not be an attempt to draw the attention away from a upcomming bigger story. Feed the people most willing to write anything negative about Auburn.

Wetzel being "noncommital" about SEC schools isn't good for Auburn. Or LSU or Alabama. I wouldn't mind Auburn getting busted but it would be good for all of us if there was no story coming out at all.
