You mean the one girl whose boyfriend allowed 3 teammates to rape while she was passed out?
Damn. Is this what happened?

There's no indication on their relationship right now. What is known is that they're indicted on 5 counts of aggravated rape and 4 counts of sexual battery for what they did to an unconscious woman. In addition Vandenburg has been charged with unlawful photography and tampering with evidence.
Both the DA and Metro PD have also said there could still be more charges.
To make matters worse, the starting QB and several other players are witnesses for the state.

Welcome to 4 months ago!
Any idea why these other players are state witnesses? Maybe these idiots showed photos or videos?

They're vanderBUILDing their case against them.
I assume the other players saw/heard/were told/shown something incriminating.

So what is being said here is that they sat there and watched... and did nothing?
Or knew about it (saw pictures or heard about it) and did nothing?
Pussy pieces of shite.

^^I think it may be worse than that. According to Metro PD, what triggered the investigation was an official reviewing tape on an unrelated incident. Whatever that official saw them doing to that girl in the hallway was enough for them to contact VPD who in turn contacted Metro.
Vandenburg photographing things sounds like a guy who had done this before. Plus, I'm pretty sure they went back to his room.
EDIT: This comment wasn't in response to the witnesses. I don't know if they're simply material witnesses who saw them at x spot at x time or whatever.

I'd love to know who else they're investigating. I don't know what Tennessee law is, but in that Steubenville, Ohio case, none of the witnesses could be charged because they had no duty to the victim. So, they could watch, in person or on video, and laugh about it, but no charges could be filed against them.
BUT...I bet they could charge someone if an effort to cover up evidence was made. Like someone suggesting to them to get rid of pictures or other evidence. That would be obstruction.

In TN, you can be charged with facilitation which the 4 players are -- facilitation means you watched while a crime you were a part of happened and it's as bad as the crime. If it's found others were a part of the crime at any point they too could be charged with facilitation BUT you have to somehow be involved at some point for this to happen. However, if you simply see a crime happening you don't have to do anything at all. It all depends on your 'participation' level and if the DA thinks those listed as witnesses or anyone else participated in any way they could be charged.
Just the major charges these guys are facing add up to 125 years max. or 25 years for each of the 5 charges they face individually.
I normally can't stand Clay Travis but he dropped the juvenile radio personality act to discuss this with Metro and is showing his intelligence as a trained lawyer. He hinted at the possibility of staff/officials and the MPD spokesperson dodged the question. MPD spokesman was asked about Vandy officials (as in the university) and again dodged, praising Vandy PD specifically and other PDs that worked the case.
However, MPD spokesman said that while he couldn't comment on specifics the investigation is ongoing and there could more.

The bond is the indicator of the severity. Bond was set between 300K and 350K when normally it would be 1/3 or 1/4 of that.

I hope no one suggested they do this, but I can see it happening.

Well the indictment says Vandenburg disseminated the photography or allowed it to be disseminated which bumps the illegal photography charge from a misdemeanor to a felony so at least someone else (maybe even a whole lot of people) saw it.

I know protocol on the rant is to make jokes about things like this, but this is just sickening.

This is unbelievable, stuff like this sickens me and if grown men really did this to a girl then they deserve the death penalty.

Where is the info that the girl was Vandenburg's gf coming from??
