And lost just as badly

In what universe does Ole Miss beat either team 41-10?

Oregon gave up some points to JMU, and they’re not scoring 50+ against those defenses.

Its amazing that the committee doesnt see the revenue they are losing by keeping teams like Notre Dame and Texas out while putting Tulane and JMU in.....not to mention the obvious disparity in talent.

Chasing another dollar has been the downfall of college sports the last 15-20 years.

Embarrassed?

How is this worse than Tennessee warming up shirtless and losing by four scores to the #8 seed?

Need to eliminate conference championship games ( ain’t going to happen) and expand to 16 teams with first 2 rounds in the higher ranked teams stadium. 1 plays 16 etc. there’d be some compelling matchups even at the 4-13 and especially 7-8 and 6-9 type games.

Another problem is the bowl games being involved. Most people will never attend a superbowl because of price but 2 bowl games and a natty will cost around $20k for 2 people to travel and buy tickets. I know most fans have an inside track to tickets at face value or around it but many do not. If I’m not mistaken UGA, if it makes the natty, will play in New Orleans, Tempe and Miami. That’ll cost 2 people close to $20k. We will pay it because we’re fanatics but it’s a helluva lot of money for what is at the end of the day entertainment

Tulane, JMU, Alabama, there should never be that many undeserving mediocre teams in the playoff, but here we are. Getting to see the three of them get embarrassed won’t even bring a lot of joy because it’s exactly what everyone expects.

And they can for the P2, sorry ACC and big 12 are not in the same realm as the big and sec. It’s the P2 followed by 2 average conferences followed by G5.

Why we pretend that there isn’t a major disparity when the sec added 2 blue bloods and the big added usc and Oregon is beyond me.
