I was told repeatedly that a playoff system would put an end to this kind of disputatious bitchery.
No matter how many times we expand the playoff system, the system will remain flawed with biased committee having the final say. Bring back the BCS but include unbiased AI.

If A&M wins out they will be. This ranking doesnt matter until the last week before playoff.

Don’t the teams with byes get to pick choice of venue in the quarterfinals?
Being #1 or #2 beats choosing 3rd. Ags in the Cotton Bowl beats the crap out of Cali or Florida.

We need some type BCS formula where it's a mix of polls & computers.
BCS formula would have the same 1-2-3 rank as committee
Great resource is Massey computer composite
Shows you the rankings of all college computers
Ohio State mostly 1-2
IU mostly 1-2
A&M. 2 to 7
Those are unbiased computers

Aggies are good but they have beaten one ranked team in ND.
They have zero wins against any SEC team that is ranked

Unfortunately after we beat the shite out of LSU and Missouri they fell out of the rankings. We need to be more like Indiana and almost lose to 3-6 teams so people will think they were awesome. No one seems to like beating teams to the point where they have empty stadiums, it's boring.

We wouldn't play anyone at home as a 3-4 seed.
It matters.

Notre Dame went down to New Orleans and beat Georgia last year. If you’re good enough it won’t matter

A&M fans need to be more honest. The reason we got jumped by IU to begin with was our back to back squeaker wins over really bad Auburn and Arky squads while the Hoosiers manhandled #2 Oregon on the road and then blew out three straight teams by huge margins.
Yes, we have shown momentum against a collapsing LSU squad and looked great against Mizzou but all the Ags crying about conspiracy are just cherry picking facts.

I’m just not surprised. A&M isn’t a media darling and doesn’t get any preferential treatment.
A&M was excluded from the playoff in 2020 for Notre Dame. Nothing is just handed to A&M.
I know, it hardly seems fair to be hated, loathed, and slanted year after years for gay milkman, bizarre behavior and traditions , stupid coaching buyouts, and all those WTF! moments. People should be more appreciative for all the laughs you dorks have provided over the years.

The BCS model would have OSU and Indiana in the title game this year. I don’t think yall realize how much A&Ms defense is hurting them in computer models (they are not even top 4 in FPI or SP+)
The current top 4 all can win out (and even lose their CCG) and will finish top 4 with a bye, so none of it really matters

Arkansas scored with a few seconds on the clock to make it a 1 possession game and never had the ball with a chance to take the lead. Auburn only made it look close because of a freakish pick. Both games had A&M TD's taken off the board over joke penalties just to make them look somewhat close. Since then we just won 2 road games by 3 scores against ranked teams.
Indiana just got outgained and needed a miracle catch and some bad execution and coaching by Penn State to beat a team on a 6 game losing streak.
A&M is clearly playing better football right now. A&M also decided to play ND on the road OOC while Indiana's best OOC win was 27-13 against mighty Old Dominion. A&M also crushed UTSA which beat the crap out of Tulane, otherwise they would be a Playoff team.
I mean you can come up with excuses for Indiana if you want or you can self loathe on A&M too. It's all bullshite though. The Chairman literally just stood up and said that Indiana has a better offense and defense than A&M which is beyond comical.
Oh, and let's not forget that Penn State got rolled by Ohio State the week before. Every comparison point was there to drop Indiana outside of "finding a way to find a way" and conveniently having the Chairman of the committee as an alumnus of Indiana.

At this point it is like kissing your cousin. It wont matter in the end should Bama or Tamu win out. 1 or a 2 is guaranteed. Same goes for OSU or Ind win out.
