Tweet per Brett McMurphy

quote:

Colorado has scheduled a Board of Regents meeting for a 2nd consecutive day for Thursday, where the Buffs are expected to discuss & approve a move to the Big 12

With Colorado becoming the first school to return to a conference they previously left, does that open the door for SEC schools to possibly make a similar move. I don't think many here would argue that A&M and Arkansas would both be better fits in the Big 12

No one will go from the sec to the big 12. I wouldn’t be surprised to see Missouri to the big 10 though. Big 10 beat the shite out of the sec in media money.

That would be awesome seeing Aggie dumping Texas at the SEC

If the big 10 would even be interested.

Who would the SEC replace them with? FSU? Georgia Tech?

You new here pal? Consensus on this board and amongst Southerners in general is that Missouri is a great fit and one of the most valuable programs to the SEC. Missouri is a beautiful state full of good god-fearing people who love them some Tiger football and hoops. There are several other programs like the aforementioned ones who are a worse fit culturally and athletically

Arkansas would be smart to go back to the Big 12 where they can be more competitive. Only 2 more wins than Vandy over the last decade is not a great outlook for them in the SEC

The better question is, does Colorado officially lose the expansion game or does Nebraska?

Also does the Pac completely detonate now with 9 teams or add some g5 flavor?

Aggie is going nowhere. It’s a money gravy train in this conference

On the balance the SEC will make more than the Big Ten, eventually...especially once the consolidation of power conferences is complete. The SEC will have the entire South - once they raid the ACC - and that is really the center mass of viewership in the sport.

I recall that at the time A&M joined the SEC, the A&M President said it was a 100 year decision.

"You Guys" are an echo chamber man. During our worst 10 year period in history, yep...

Chard Morris
Bert
John L (smile) Smith

Give Pittman time man, our recruiting is so much better than half of the SEC... Compare Mizzou and Arkansas right now... Better yet, for your sake. Dont!

The only thing Gustavo Malzahn is obliterating is Auburn’s bank account. They’re still paying him to not be in the SEC.
