There’s already a judgment against. Shilo. That part is over so yes something did come of it. Now they’re trying to collect and intentional torts are non-dischargable in bankruptcy. Shilo is going to have to pay the guy

Since this assault occurred when he was a minor, why wasn’t Deion responsible for the damages as well?

Texas law only imposes liability upon parents for property damage caused by minors. There’s also a cap of $25k of liability.

It does not extend to bodily injury liability. This was a personal injury lawsuit.

I live local, came out that was staged, they didn’t buy it for him. It was honestly just a “showing” but they twisted it to make it like they bought it. Deion does not live there, that’s a fact

So they publicly lied about buying a giant mansion for dad, which the media happily reported.
Now that one of them has been found liable for injuries to another person to the tune of $12 million, they say they're not worth that much, and are (rightfully) counting on a friendly media to not report it.
