T. Michael going for 46 pitches is way less than ideal for OU for game 1 with how many runs OU scored. Especially since they used two of their normal starters from conference play.
Lots will depend on how deep the staff of the winner of UT/ND had to go but having Michael for G2 is a concern with it looking like it will be a bullpen game.
