Does anyone mind if I turn this into the scoreboard for the CWS? It can be the neutral place for fans of all the teams and I will keep it updated. Even FSU fans. jk FSU

I think those 2 teams look the strongest, but all it takes is running into the wrong pitcher at the wrong time. In 2015 I thought we had the hottest team, but ran into the same pitcher from Virgina twice in the CWS. We played them 3 times and won the game he didn't pitch. Scored 10 runs in that game. Damn you Brandon Waddell!!

I think Vandy and Arkansas have the hitting and enough pitching to minimize the risk of running into the wrong pitcher. Arkansas is more vulnerable of the two because of the lack of starting pitching depth, but I have feeling Arkansas might be a team on a mission after last year and have a pitcher or two step up in Omaha.

You might be right, but sometimes it is just not fair. 2 years ago we played TCU 3 times in the CWS and Alex Faedo pitched 2 of those games, which were both shutouts. He was damn near untouchable that post season.
The fun part is usually whatever I think will end up being wrong. Which is why I have learned not to be a gambler.

Arkansas obviously has the hitting, it all comes down to starting pitching. Campbell is obvious, he'll do well.
Noland/Wicklander are both freshman that are either really good, or really bad.
Noland went 7.2 innings early in the year against MSU and gave up 4 hits and 0 runs.
Then Noland only lasted 1 full inning against Ole Miss. Same with Wicklander.
Luckily we have a good bullpen behind them in case things go bad.

I can only assume Tourette's syndrome is involved.

It has been a great year to be an Auburn tiger, final four and now college World Series. It feels so good!

Tech fans are welcome to join the discussion Phil, we are just focused on the conference teams because this is the SECrant after all.
We have some pretty decent FSU fans who post here occasionally as well. (that was hard to say)
