Is it possible to see a team live and not in person?
Was that what you did in 3rd grade grammar?
Well, did ya?

Why? I’ve heard the same comment directed at Bama posters as nauseum around here. What’s different about my post?

Go ahead.

I think it's silly when people say it to Bama fans

Every team has fans that actually fit that bill, Bama probably has more than most because of the success they have enjoyed recently (like Yankees or Patriots fans on a pro level)

To answer your question, this is a reasonable off season topic, discusing what teams people have seen

Some people collect stamps, others comic books or video games

I used to collect UGA program covers

Everyone on here cares about college football. If not, why be here? I'm not seeing how this topic or his recollection of teams he has seen puts him on the "what kids do on Saturday determines my life" category

But you just quasi admitted your response was a "response post" to prior accusations against Bama fans (or you personally)

When people say that to Bama fans, they are trolling (or trying to get under the skin of) Bama fans

So there you have it, I think your response was shitty in the context of THIS thread

Doesn't mean I have a problem with you though...

How can you post over 13,000 times on a message board dedicated to college sports and accuse someone else of having their priorities out of order for going to a lot of college football games?

I went to LSU games in the 1970s (as a wee lad) and 1980s.
I went to Colorado games through the 90's.
I went to LSU games from 2001-2018.
Counting time I lived out of the country it's probably about 300 games.
I bet I've seen at least 75% of Division 1 teams.
Including every SEC, Big 12 and Pac 12 team.

I have seen every SEC team play...A&M I saw in 1962 at age 15 when the Gators crushed them 42-6

So many OOC games its hard to list...but Ga Tech (many times), UNC, WV, West Texas State in 1982 when we put 77 points on that hapless team, Univ of New Jawsey @ Coral Gables, Temple, New Mexico State when we put 70 on them in 1994, Southern Miss, Oklahoma St for Spurriers first game as HC and they were ranked 5th preseason...beat them 50-7.
And numerous others.
