It just further proves UTrannies and Aggy are the exact same.

You don’t like how actual facts make you feel so you pretend to be filthy rich rocket scientists behind your keyboard.

Meanwhile, thousands of fricking morons transfer into UTrans and AggyLand via Blinn and UTSA every year before walking away with a worthless Liberal Arts degree and pretending you’re better than everyone

Making a response thread because of USNWR is certainly a choice.

Oh yeah I did. I lived at what was then The Castilian on the 21st floor, in 1981-1983, right behind the Drag. I looked down on the Pi Phi house sundeck. The first 11 floors were a parking garage. There was a Subway on the first floor, and we bought great but kinda rare burgers and fries at Mad Dog and Beans across the street.

I did most of my studying off the West Mall at the PCL (Perry-Castaneda Library).

I’ll bet there is a Texas Ex somewhere who can confirm these facts…

OP - you're talking to the SEC. Don't bring fine wine to a kegger.

Well, I am going to credit Vandy and Florida with being way up there, with Georgia and aggy being pretty good too… aggy is definitely the most annoying of this group though…

Too bad all of the homeless that live in the alley behind the Castilian don’t pay rent or maybe that shithole would be a little nicer

I’m going for pure entertainment value on an otherwise vanilla day…

So far, I’m enjoying the Rant’s passionate response…

Imagine caring about a college’s athletic standards and not it’s academic ones. Unless you’re attending as an athlete, why would you care? “Higher education”, the SEC states are so backwards it’s laughable

Imagine being on a sports message board and posting about about academics. But it is nice having Longhorns that work for me and do a good job.

You definitely know the area…

True story… there was a record shop on the Drag whose back door opened onto that Castilian ally. That shop often did artist promos.

I was walking home from class one afternoon, cutting through that alley to the back Castilian entrance like I always did. I looked up to see a beautiful woman stepping off a tour bus parked in the alley which said “Blondie” … it was Debbie Harry heading into that music shop for an album signing…

I can assuredly eloquently furnish you with the information that your sanctimonious yet nonsensical narrative regarding Texas' scholastic prowess is not doctrine in the academic community. Additionally, it is altogether unimpressive to nonpareil scholars such as myself!

No Vanderbilt? Oh yeah, it's Quacquarelli Symonds. Congrats, I guess.

Honestly, this is some decent shite talking. And it’s also amusing because I know several people that fricked around too much in high school and went to LSU and took their high school level retard classes and transferred into Texas to get said liberal arts degree.

1 This is an SEC Sports board. The overwhelming number of athletes that play for our favorite institution Major in whatever sport they are playing. Most SEC athletes are funneled into the easiest majors and have others do all their school work.

2 Once you are 5 years post college, no one gives a F where you received your degree. All anyone cares about is the value you bring their organization. If you are a business owner, your customers only care about the quality of the product, or service, you are providing.

Bottom line…. No one here cares, and no one out there cares.

What does that have to do with anything? It's mostly white and Asian Texans.

Texas is a great school academically, I just think some of these rankings intentionally jump the shark in order to separate themselves from other ranking makers.

Of course, you can get a very good education almost anywhere if you work hard at it.

If LSU keeps on churning out players like Burrow and ODB, they’re going to be LSUGBTQIA
