You can make fun of Dez's goofy picks, but he still has his job. Unlike David Pollack who always made safer picks. Just sayin.

Sometimes, yes. Otherwise, what?

If everybody picks UGA, Bama, Ohio State, and Clemson there's nothing to talk about.

Safe picks are more likely to be right, but add nothing of value to the show.

Pollack added no value and was fired. He was right, but he's also unemployed. Make of that what you will.

Did you notice his IQ jumped up 30 points just by changing his favorite team?

Let's not go crazy here.

It's gonna take more than 30 to get Sidewalk into genius territory.

Alabama- Saban's revenge tour, goes 13-0 and wins SEC
Michigan- continues streak in Big 10
LSU- 11-1, loses only close game at Alabama, gets in ahead of 2 loss UGA and Tennessee
USC rolls in the Pac 12

I'd like to know if a team ever went from 5 wins to BCS title/playoff game in one year. Has a team ever even gone from 6 wins to title game/playoffs?

Honestly, they should cruise into the playoffs. They have the easiest schedule in the country. They only have one tough game with USC and it’s at home.

You sound lost in the past. PAC 12 has improved quite a bit in the last few seasons.

Washington was a damn good team last year. So were Oregon State and Utah.

Those 3, plus Oregon, USC, and UCLA makes for 6 teams that can knock off anyone on any given day, that's as much or more depth as we see in any other conference outside the SEC.

And Dan Lanning is building a monster defense. They play Washington, Utah, and USC in the regular season so we will see.

I think a good question would be who will be the annual whipping boy.

Would Michigan qualify last year because they lost to the team that got curb stomped?
