Funny to see Leach already at the bottom. Doubt Pittman is going anywhere any time soon and same with Heupel unless they pull a Pruitt and frame him with a dead girl or live boy.

Doesn't feel the same without seeing Gus Malzahn near the top.

He got basically a free year where he gets praised for going 3-7, he's not going to get that again and he already had the team playing at their ceiling.

I think he could be on the hot season quicker than people think.

Zero coaches are on the hot seat. Either they've been good or they were just hired.

Pretty remarkably low hot-seat numbers. History says someone will be fired, but no obvious candidates this year. Orgeron only on the hot seat at all for non-football reasons. The rest are either too new or too established.

Because if Kiffin does good at Ole Miss, and Leach doesn't, then Leach will be fired. You guys hired him simply as a reaction to Ole Miss hiring Lane, so that stands to reason.

Cliff notes: Author opines Orgeron is the only coach at risk.

I wonder if Kiffin is lower because of the rumors.

Barring some sort of scandal I don't actually see anyone getting fired after this season unless O goes full Ole Miss Ed and runs LSU straight into the ground to the tune of like a 4-8 record. Everyone else is either too recent a hire to be fired or too well established as a known commodity.

Say what you will about Gus but the guy knew how to make millions I believe since the day he arrived in 2009 he booked 60 million plus in his days at AU.

No way could he get all of the barn's money in that 100 grand BMW on his way out of Lee County.

One reason would be the defense will struggle due to give up too many points! Odom isn't going to improve his players ability to stop top teams and/or offense and that was the case last year. Ole Miss and possible MSU will beat Arkansas this year when they took a loss to Arkansas last year. Missouri just made an upgrade by hiring a much better DC and a better CB/DB coach. Recruiting and the transfer portal also helped get some better players and some back ups that Missouri didn't have last year. Players were gassed/injured or out of the game down the stretch to the end of the year.
