A few thoughts:

UF seems to be finally sliding after dropping 2 games this week.

UK and Vandy really impressed this week and the polls showed it.

How do you go 5-0 and drop this week? BA said A&M did.

Don’t see a former CWS team from the 50’s on the list.

Does Mizzou take up that much real estate in your head? That’s your first though. Not that UK is climbing as high as it’s been in a very long time, I would assume, but that some shite midwestern school that isn’t good at baseball isn’t on this list.

Looks like if LSU can split 4 with USA/Mizzou they'll probably move into the Top 10. Impressive.

LOL, just giving it back to a certain lurker who will soon be in here with the snarky remark and brings nothing to the conversation.

Cats climbed the polls and so did the RPI after the Tech series. I am concerned that Lewis got roughed up a bit yesterday and took the loss. Our bats are hot and hope we can carry it into SEC play.

The SEC gauntlet begins this weekend. So many good teams.

And that's putting it lightly.

Missouri and Alabama are both 13-3 and not on any of these rankings

Yep...will be interesting to see who survives conference play. Winning weekend series (especially away) will be hard to get...including playing the “shite midwestern program”.

Could the SEC get 4 National Seeds by regional play?

Looking at it before the season started I saw A&M opened in the road at Auburn. I thought that should be a nice transition into SEC road play since Auburn was good, but not elite. Now it’s looks like as big as any match up A&M will have.

No they will NOT have 4 national seeds.

Seemed like a decent backlash in 16 and they didn’t perform then. I think that and just the craziness that will have to come into play to make it happen.

And while we haven't played a great schedule, we've played a semi-decent one. We haven't loaded up on Howard and North Dakota State.

The league is just stupid good. Like I've said since we started seeming to be playing better ball, I'd be ecstatic if we got within 2 or 3 games of .500 in league play.

Big week in Fayetteville, 2 midweek games against Texass and 3 games against KY.

Looking forward to A&M @ Auburn and Florida @ USC as well.

Probably not well. Coach Bo is very good and Goff was very bad but there is still a talent reason we only won 19 games last year and went 5-24-1 in SEC play other than just Goff being a dummy. We'll struggle in league play.

Ole Miss is scratching runs by right now. Well it seems like most teams we play that we do. We’ve got to give more run support to our pitchers early. Our bats seem to be coming around, but 60% is lined at someone. But the one thing I’ve seen from this team is, they don’t give up. Right when you think we’re out of it they start clawing their way back in. I honestly like the fight they have. Seems like everyone is all in. But still some non mental and mental errors we need to clean up. Hopefully the longer we play, the more polished that can get.

We have 2 games vs GState this week and they aren’t an easy out. They have a decent lineup, plus a Bench award prospect behind the plate. Then we start the season of the SEC beating up on each other. Good luck to everyone this week and weekend. Should be a fun season. Alot of good SEC teams.
