Condoleezza Rice on the committee? Is that to bring legitimate integrity to the panel? WTF does she know about college football..

gonna go out on a limb and guess that she knows quite a bit more than a the majority of this board.

of course, that isnt saying much.

Carson breaks into the secondary too many times and gashes Cocks with big runs. CHECK

While Carson scored 3 times, he didn't break any big runs, did he? not many yards, right? not taking anything away from what you guys did. I sat watching the game with my mouth open in awe the whole game.

It wouldn't get the same result because they wouldn't have preconceived biases based on what they thought before they saw anyone play.

I see, so you don't just want them to not publish their opinions before week 3, you don't want them to even think before week 3.

I've got news for you, it's not just the preseason that biases opinions, it's 100 years of college football history that biases opinions too.

Take "Alabama" for example, or "Ohio State". They don't need preseason rankings to over rate these types of teams.

Polls shouldn't be taken until October.

I agree but I think most fans want to see how the "experts" perceive the weekly outcomes. Objectively, Georgia is probably ranked about right; probably a top 10 team but I don't think we are a top 5 team. Based on what we have seen so far, which is hardly enough, I'm guessing FSU, Auburn, Michigan St. and Oklahoma or Oregon will be in the playoffs. Someone in the 5 major conferences is going to be left out and pissed. And since the the Big 12 doesn't have a conference playoff, I'm thinking they will be the default loser all other factors equal.

That's it, I'm leaving you out at night from now on.

And it's not really because you're not house broken, it's because you still can't resist the tootsie rolls in the cat box.

It wouldn't be so bad if you didn't insist on licking everyone's faces afterwards.

Damn dawgs.

ETA: Why can't y'all control yourselves better like State Dogs?

They're such good dogs.

Sounds about right, from the Alabama fan. Of course, you would say that. Your team is overrated. At this point, A&M, Auburn, and Georgia are all better teams than Alabama. But, once Saban faces the offenses of A&M and Auburn, it will all right itself

A number of teams have a claim at the #1 ranking in the SEC right now, and Alabama isn't one of them

I'm not sure that's a thing, honestly.

Though A&M and Auburn are both 1-0 in the SEC. So, by default the rankings are:
#1 - Auburn / Texas A&M
#2 - Everyone else except...
#3 - South Carolina / Arkansas

Don't give a chit about rankings at this point. The SEC rankings will be decided on the field.

Some of the OOC team rankings are complete BS.

Baylor at 9? lmfao Ken Starr must have a lot of pictures.

UCLA? Beat powerhouse UVA by 8? WTF?

The problem is that these OOC teams have powderpuff schedules.

As much as it digusts me to say this, maybe A&M does need to put Baylor back on the schedule because we freakin OWN them, rg3 & briles.

LSU fans ragging on Bama need to look back to 2011 when LSU gave up over 500 total yards with 460 of those coming through the air vs WVU. Lsu fans consider that one of their best defenses of all times. All we heard was LSU played a bend but don't break defense that game,,, guys what so did Bama.

That 2011 WVA team ended the season 10-3, scored 489 points on the year and was coming off of a 9-4 season.

Your 2014 WVA team is coming off of a 4-8 season when they scored a mere 316 points.

2011 WVA =/= 2014 WVA. Sorry.

That was last year's WVU team. Time will tell if this year's is good or bad.

Geno Smith, Tavon Austin and Stedman Bailey, all currently with the NFL, were on that WVU team. Hell, they scored 70 on Clemson in the Orange Bowl.

And the game was played in Morgantown, amongst the burning couches and all.

And LSU won by 26. WVU had a lot more possessions in 2011 due to all the Tiger KOs.

Yeah, Ima go ahead and beat the rush and predict that they won't come close to the season they had in 2011 - sans the LSU game.
