Alabama typically played one of the toughest schedules in college football, so try again.

The same can be said for the majority of SEC teams.

So you are obviously clueless.

Maybe not the coaches poll, but It seemed like the CFP committee valued head to head in their rankings last week. A&M got rolled by SC on the road but was still above LSU, which had to be due to head to head.

What?

Alabama has consistently had one of the toughest schedules in the country, year in and year out.

Ole Miss didn’t just win, they absolutely crushed UGA. They will be ahead in the CFP rankings

You can ignore a close win you can’t ignore domination

Yep, it doesn't make sense other than the quality of losses are definitely a factor.

Bunch of teams getting ranked because of weak schedules, not because they have great teams.

Indiana @ anOSU in a couple weeks should be fun

I think that any one of the SEC teams in the top 12 could beat those B1G teams. No lie.

But they say an Indiana loss won't eliminate them so an 0-1 season gets a playoff spot

based on these rankings

1 Oregon
8 Indiana vs 9 Notre Dame

4 SMU
5 Ohio State vs 12 Boise State

3 BYU
6 Tennessee vs 11 GA / Ole Miss

2 Texas
7 Penn State vs 10 Alabama

No. Boise doesn't replace Miami or SMU. The ACC champ has to get in, and your scenario doesn't have an ACC team. Ole MIss gets bumped.

SMU is the 3 seed.. they are ACC now

I picked them over Miami

We need a bigger playoff.. Too much parity. Teams like SC and Vandy should be in as well imo.

If coaches aren’t gonna vote they should just not vote. Dont let some PR person vote in your stead.

Half these coaches polls have to be done by an assistant in advance.

there was no reason to even have a 4 team CFP after the BCS model was abandoned -

stage 16 teams like FCS has since forever - they know how to get it done -

or go back to the BCS model of plus-1 and restore the bowl system - 12 team bracket is beyond stupid - especially with 5-8 seeds hosting on campus while 1-4 doesn't - it's laughable -
