When LSU offense came to sideline it was Brady talking to Burrow on the headset. Slinger was working on the next possession's play calls.

Not even concerned about the offense. The doubters will be silenced once again. The difference with LSU now and then is all based on culture. The culture at LSU has changed and it’s clear that CFB isn’t mentally prepared for that. The talent is supreme and now the coaches are coaching them up.

But calling 70% of the plays is not "leading the offense". It means when it came to the important calls, he wasn't making them.

And you know this how? I feel it was exactly what it appeared to be. Installed by Brady and he called plays some of the time as well. I think it set a template for the future of offensive coordinators having 2 set of eyes in the game calling plays.

Let me end this debate . Didn't Brady just received the OC position at a Professional NFL team??

If and NFL Coach had to pick between Brady and Esminger as his New OC. 95% would pick Brady!

Hey, I love Ensminger and he did amp up his calling decisions this past year, but everyone ( Offensive Players) knew who was making the calls for them to win 15 games.

This offense did what it did for one reason JOE MOTHERfrickING BURREAUX, Not Brady, Not Ensminger, Not Coach O.

Brady left because he knew he wouldn't have Joe Burrow next year and his stock was as high as it would be thanks to Burrow.

This just isn't true.

It’s no secret that Brady wasn’t enamored with the recruiting grind that’s a major part of college football. He did his job, and he did it well, but recruiting teenagers wasn’t something Brady wanted to do longterm.

quote:

The Athletic quoted a LSU staffer as saying that Brady “just didn’t enjoy the communication aspect and all the teenager shenanigans”. They also noted, however, that he didn’t slack on the recruiting aspect of the job. He did it, even though it wasn’t his favorite thing in the world.

Brady just wants to coach football. And that’s understandable. Not everyone enjoys trying to convince 16-18 year olds to commit to a program. It takes a different kind of mindset.

You want to know the REAL reason a FIRST TIME NFL coach would pick J Brady as his OC. So he could install the NEW ORLEANS SAINTS OFFENSE. It's that simple.

Don't even ask why he didn't go after slinger.

How does that "end the debate?"

The vast majority of the time it was Ensminger.

edit: In fact, that entire post is an excuse why lsu lost to alabama 29-0 in 2018. Yet, when an Alabama fan remarks that Tua was injured prior to the 2019 game that UA lost by 5 points, you want to disregard that.

Tua wasn't the reason you lost, Tua had enough mobility to be effective.

Your point makes no sense.

we got to see Ensminger and Burrow plus those same receivers in 2018. The result vs Alabama was 29-0
