Alleva should have never been hired

Coach O should have never been hired

The difference is that Alleva proved his hiring was a mistake continuously throughout his tenure.
Coach O has exceeded expectations and has the program pointing up.

I think anyone wanting O gone are actually hopeful that he would leave because they know deep inside that he is awesome and will once again have LSU winning championships!

Thanks Mrs Orgeron. You should drink less purple kool aid

Quite the opposite

We're overly loyal to our own kind, and the only real mistake O has made was hiring a drunk.

Born and raised in New Orleans, Orgeron is not one of my kind. Maybe if you're one of those illierates that eats road kill, yeah he's one of your kind.

Not really. All he has to do is continue to win and improve. That standard applies to any coach regardless of who is in charge...especially football. O is working his arse off and recruiting well and has hired some great assistance.
Let him lose two or three games a season and not progress...he will be gone. Such is the big boys in the SEC.

Orgeron will be at LSU 5+ more years. No matter what the stats and tigerdroppings say, he’s adored by the majority of fans and they think the program is on an “upward” trajectory. He won’t be fired for 10 win seasons like miles. I could even see him being there another 10+ years

The move to fire Sumlin didn't catch fire until UCLA happened. Even then, he was very close to salvaging his job...until he got boatraced in consecutive weeks at home right after a bye week. After the Auburn game, nothing was going to save him, not even a victory over LSU.

Orgeron is good for this year. 2020 is the year where the scrutiny comes in.

If this had been done before last year, I'd say he would really be shitting on himself. But LSU is in good shape at the moment. They finished #6 last year, posted double-digit wins, won the Fiesta bowl and look to have a pretty stout team this year. But 29-0 against Bama ain't gonna cut it, so he does have to change that.
