Best example I can give is harbaw at Michigan.

The plan with your coach was before the portal and NIL.
Yeah, that makes a lot of sense.
Georgia technically has won two national championships in the NIL era, and one when NIL was in full swing. In 2023 we played murderball in the NIL era, but lost the wrong game at the wrong time.

I mean saban lost multiple times to malzahn but I don't see anyone clamoring that Auburn was in better shape as a program than bama.
Saban did not have a losing record against Malzhan.

The beginning, yes. Three years later and Georgia has missed the playoff and lost to Notre Dame and Ole Miss in New Orleans.
By the time the next playoff rolls around, Kirby will be closing in on a four year CFP win drought.

Depends..if they walk into a decent situation just some things need fixing a year or two..if they walk into a clusterfrick 3-4.

Fat face Kirby having a losing record to Alabama, Saban, and DeBoer must sting

It usually does not end up working out. Unless your program creates an illegal and elaborate cheating scheme like Harbaugh did at Michigan after being there for 7 years

You guys are going to year 3 with Mike Bobo as OC? You tell us.
Can you give me an example of a team coming off back to back conference championships and fired their OC?

Kirby is 1-2 against Deboer and Deboer is 1-2 against Venables, so therefore Oklahoma has the best coach.

At least DeBoer isn’t 0-1 against head coach Pete Golding.

I'd like to point out Kirby hasn't won a playoff game in 3 seasons. KDB has multiple playoff victories at multiple programs.

Who the hell is "you guys"? I went to and am a fan of LSU.
I do agree that Deboer inherited an extremely talented team. Still, that does not disprove anything I said.

Venables has most definitely done the best job against DeBoer overall. His defenses have been on point.
Can't say the same about Kirby.

Kirby Smart is still a damn good coach but he is from an era that is past. His coaching style is from the Saban tree and Saban was wise enough to get out while he could. Kirby will still get elite players but the days of two and three deep rosters at skill positions are all but gone. Ryan Day is in a similar situation, although he was able to get a top notch DC. His offenses are another story

Alabama averaged .88 yards per carry in their last 3 games. That is encouraging. 2026 national championship incoming.
