Florida- 3-seed (SEC champs)
Ain't no way in hell with these guards. Probably a 4 seed is our ceiling. Will probably end up a 6 or 7 seed. Lee has improved some, Fland has improved none. He doesn't know how to play with others.

Again, we have 3 common opponents and Auburn performed slightly better against each of those three if you compare them side by side. We had one Q4 scare on opening night, beating Bethune Cookman by 5. Y’all had one Q4 scare, beating Samford by 4. Y’all had a Q3 scare as well, almost losing to Winthrop.
All you have written proves nothing. Don’t quit your day job.

Okay. So what is your proof that Arky is in a different stratosphere? KenPom and the NET show us both within 5 spots of each other. Torvik projects us to split our games this season, each of us winning at home.
Where’s your evidence smart guy?

Georgia has about 10% of them
Georgia is right where they were last season. On this day exactly 1 year ago…
Georgia was 12-1.
Georgia was 1-1 in games against the NET Top 90.
Georgia was decisively beating up on teams rated around #250 to #350 in the NET.
Then SEC play started…
Georgia went 8-10 in SEC play.
The difference is the SEC was strong enough last year that Georgia could finish in a 4-way tie for 9th in the SEC and still get it…. We got 14 teams in last year. They also had an OOC win over St. John’s who was a 2-seed.
This season they have no impressive OOC wins and the SEC will get capped at 10 or 11 teams max.

Very similar performances yet Auburn performed slightly better each and every time against common opponents.
Arkansas beat Louisville by 9 at home. Auburn beat NC State by 11 at home.
Arkansas beat Texas Tech by 9 on a neutral court. Auburn beat St John’s by 12 on a neutral court.
Both Auburn and Arkansas are winless against the Top 12 teams in the NET…. The only difference is Auburn played 3 of these elite opponents (Michigan, Arizona, and Purdue) while Arkansas played just 2 (Duke and Michigan State). Arkansas was able to keep their games closer than Auburn, but the caliber of competition was also more difficult in Auburn’s opponents.
I'll bite.
Of the games played against top 20 NET ranked teams Auburn is 1-3 and the total point differential is -86.
Arkansas is 2-3 vs the NET top 20 and the point differential is -6.
The getting blown out by 30 against those 3 teams in addition to not having Bruce Pearl on the bench is what makes some folks skeptical.
I agree that both teams are close in resumes at this point in time and I appreciate you doing the work on this thread.

We're absolute dogshit. Should be good for a few conference wins.

Agree that Arkansas has been more competitive against likely Future 1 or 2 seeds. But at the end of the day, a loss is a loss.
Neither team has shown yet that they can pull out an elite win over a team like that albeit Arky was relatively close and Auburn was close against Houston.

Here here. Can’t wait for Saturday and guaranteed SEC basketball at least 3 days of the week going forward.
