The youth on this site or complete mental retardation that encompasses these message boards that keeps whistling by the graveyard need to know some facts. When the Alabama administration and the fanbase are on the same page, God help you all. Bryant, Stallings Saban, and now DeBoer were/are embraced by everyone. Ray Perkins, Bill Curry, Mike Shula all won 10 games in a season when the fanbase/administration was fractured. Curry and DuBose each won a SEC title. Da Bear, Da GOAT, and DaBoer. Get used to it. The whole program is on the same page once again.

What tune are you whistling as you scurry past the graveyard?

Don't. Lived to see 12 Natty's in my lifetime under 3 different coaches. Not to mention SEC titles.

I wouldn't know, I'm not a "BBall" fan.

It will be interesting to watch the Alabama-LSU football matchup going forward though.

We've only had two games where Saban wasn't involved since 2000 and LSU is 2-0.

2002 Dennis Franchione beat Saban 31-0 in Baton Rouge. Alabama is bigger than any coach.

That's a common statement Bama fans like to make.

They leave out this part though:

Only success was against a probation riddled Bama. Auburn and Mississippi State were beating us as well! Congrats!

LSU has had shorthanded rosters also, are you saying those wins don't count?

It took 2 GOATS to get Bama all that glory & one should have never happened.

Who’s whistling?

No to be terribly defensive of the OP here, but that isn’t all the glory for the program, just the best parts.

There isn’t universal support for DeBoer, but oddly enough there wasn’t universal support for Saban either. We have a lot of trust fund fans who have gotten spoiled by the consistent success of the program who will probably switch to being Georgia fans next year should we lose to them next year (and I had that predicted before Saban retired). When that happens, good riddance, I’ve also been here for 12 titles and I remember the good and the bad.

Our good has just been better than everyone else.
