Clemson vs UGA 2021

In Charlotte and possibly on a Thursday. Just terrible.

That's not a Thursday. But Im beginning to not like the neutral site games. Just schedule a home and home and enjoy.

We're already playing UGA in Atlanta in 2024. I don't mind, but Charlotte is a strange location.

Without looking I am guessing that is the Chik-Fil-a kickoff game.

Probably to even the schedule out and not do a home and home. Neutral site.

Not really.Therd was an opening for CU and UGA dropped San Jose State.

It was more last minute than anything else. There also wasn't an opening at MCB in '21

It's not gonna be on a Thursday.
Quit being a drama queen.

What? Yes,it's gonna be awful a top 10 matchup and the teams were able to schedule a year in advance.

Do you not understand how CFB scheduling works?

Charlotte’s fine. I’m not crazy about BOA as a stadium but plenty of Clemson Alum in the Charlotte area. Play there once a year anyway. I’m good with it.

My preference would be to play home and home. The Sunday night before Labor Day. No pro games. Only game on that Sunday night. Loser has to eat the crappie out of Hartwell.

Actually, I read that Clemson dropped a game, too.
It was in the newsletter:

This time the Dawgs kicked San Jose State to the curb (and paid a handsome sum in doing so) in order to take on old foe Clemson, who dismissed Wyoming from their schedule to make this all work.

IF this is correct, then Clemson kicked Wyoming off their schedule.

How insufferable will Clemson fans be when they kick off 2021 and 2024 with wins over an SEC team?

Probably the same amount as when they beat an sec team to start the year in 2011,2012,2016 and 2017.

Maybe not as bad as those years, they beat a top tier SEC team those seasons

That and 7 people lined up at QB and we still had a chance to win on the last play

For the tv audiences, these are great match ups. But I keep thinking the students get screwed out of some really great home and home experiences.

No doubt. But who bitches about a game like this scheduled just over a year out?
No one. This is impressive.

I don't know. We hold our own better against Clemson thabn Auburn does against Georgia, though, so....

Why do so many so this anytime a neutral site game is announced?

OF COURSE a home and home would be preferred but it's absolutely impossible to schedule a H&H this quickly and the ONLY way this game is played is a neutral site match up.
