Seems like Dabo knows a beating is coming.

I was very much awake. Y’all were the only program besides South Carolina and Ole Miss McMahon beat multiple times while he was here.

Pretty sure I heard them say in an interview that it might be two or so weeks before they would play. No biggie if true.

Clemson still intends to play the game and is not seeking financial damages.

So the point is... what?

I mean, with how bad Clemson looks this year, I'm surprised Dabo isn't trying to figure out a way to immediately cancel the game.

I'm starting to hear more and more reasonable commentators say the players in question should play, because they do have a special case and this is an isolated case. Then you have posturing fools like the ones behind this breach notice.

No-brainer from a compliance\legal dept perspective.
For the cost of sending an email, they can preposition a claim if LSU is ever sanctioned.
Breach of contract, quick settlement for an effortless payday, and the floor of attorneys pays for itself that month.

Basically:

hey, LSU...we don't like what you are doing with your roster management and the precedent you might be setting for eligibility standards.

However...we absolutely LOVE what you are doing to the SEC!

Don't worry about restitution. We good.

frick the SEC.
