It's easier when you have a one game season. Clemson will practice for whoever they see as their playoff threat for two months. or more.

I wish UNC put Clemson outta their misery. They deserve to miss the playoffs this year. If you play 12 scrubs and no ranked teams, you shouldn't get a free pass because of "last year"

Clemson seems to struggle more in conference than out of it. We actually had a couple tight games last season while you blew every body out including LSU who didn’t even score.

If the top 3 or 4 teams from the Big 10 and the SEC continue on their current course I agree that 1 loss knocks out Clemson.
The irony is that UGA can look terrible against UofSC and lose to them and still be well positioned for the playoffs. Clemson cannot lose to UofSC and still make the playoffs.

I am not saying our schedule isn't weak and it doesn't help us to play in games that are typically blowouts to keep our starters fresh, but this argument that you parroted last year after Clemson took Bama to the woodshed is beyond silly.
