Auburn's run defense is misleading. Moo State had he most success running the ball against Auburn and they ran a lot of option plays and quarterback draws. Georgia doesn't run that style of offense because they don't have that type of quarterback. Auburn's defense has actually done well shutting down conventional running games like Georgia uses

Then you should be able to shut down Chubb and Gurley with no problem.
I mean, it should be easy in fact.

only problem with that is yall haven't faced gurley. He transcends gameplans.

We'll just have to score more I suppose

I'd imagine that's auburn's goal every game.

Yeah, this is the first time we've had an elite offensive line in the Richt era, imo.
I agree with this...in terms of run blocking. They're average at pass blocking. But this year we have decided passing is for pussies. And I dig that.

definitely disagree there.
02 was the best OL we've had, and 05 was really stout as well. I think we're thinking our OL is go great simply because of how much over expectations they've performed.
That 02 OL was Jon Stinchcomb, Alex Jackson, Ian Knight, Kevin Breedlove, and Kareem Marshall. All 5 of which were seniors.

Only because Dak was on a bye.

My favorite was the 2007 OL

Trinton Sturdivant especially was a monster in '07, I thought he was going to be one of the all-time Georgia greats. It's a shame how his career turned out.

yep. Could've been one of the best OTs we've ever had, I fully believe that. Damn shame.

I know that i'm in the minority on this... but he was vastly overrated by dawg fans.
He was great for a freshman left tackle.
But great for a freshman and great about about 2000 miles apart. The kid got abused a lot. But that's what you expect from a kid in the SEC.

I guess I was watching different games than you. He played as a TFr in the SEC and did very, very well. I didn't really see him get beat all that often.

He got beat often.
But he was able to beat out the other 3 starting true freshmen left tackles in the country for Freshman All American honors. He was better than all of those other 3 guys, and our fans project that he would have been the best left tackle ever before his UGA career finished (assuming no injury).
