Was listing to the rivals Florida guy on the radio. He said that the text (Time to die) didn't get him arrested, it was saying, "wait till they leave your going to get it." to the girl, . . . in front of the cop.

That's pathetic. Anything short of dismissal tarnishes the conference.

With all the cleat chasers out there, he gets stuck on that girl? Did she have beer flavored nipples?Posted on 9/14/10 at 9:32 am to tigerguy121
Florida is just pissed that Georgia won the Fulmer Cup

He may get off if her dad is like the GF of Courtney Upshaw.
She was punching him...he pushed her off of him.
And it wasn't his girlfriend...it was one of his girlfriends and she had recently found out she was voted most likely to be replaced.

I want to say I can't believe football players are this dumb, but alas, they keep proving that they are indeed that dumb.

This is a stupid DECISION. Not a "mistake".
A mistake is trying to unlock a same color, same model car as yours parked 2 spots away.
I HATE when I see a bad CHOICE called a "mistake"

I'm a bit surprised at all of the mocking going on here. Do you not remember what happened in May at the University of Virginia? Young lady died, basically beaten to death by a male athlete. This crap needs to be taken seriously.

The reaction i saw on gator country was nothing short of disturbing. Stalking is a serious crime, and it gets a lot of girls kiled every year (wasn't there some case involving virginia lacrosse playes recently, where one wound up dead?) I am not a father, and I don't know how many of you are. But if some guy texted this to my daughter I would want his arse on a platter. It just disturbs me that, as much as we know about how stalkers operate, that more people aren't outragd over this matter, and how many are willing to rationalize such a serious threat.

The threat was taken seriously. He was arrested and interviewed. The victim was interviewed and told the judge she wasn't afraid of CR.
I'm not sure what else anyone would want from this. I don't know what his punishment should be because the issue is so serious. I hope they balance this somehow so as to protect the girl if needed and to keep the kid from getting too dinged in life if had no real intention of hurting her. The problem is, how do you really know?

That's what I said. I mean, loyalty to the team is good and all, but come on...
This is a touchy subject though. I've seen many friends of both sexes go through bad break ups and no one gets physically hurt. But there are plenty of fights and late night angry texts and all of that could be stalking if someone wanted to press charges.
It doesn't mean people are bad. Just love crazy.
We'll see how this all shakes out, but he certainly shouldn't play with the team for a while.

Someone should post this on the OT, there would be pics of said victim within 10 minutes.
