Not even gonna try to defend him. That was a dipshit move plain and simple.
I think he could be in serious trouble with this and the higher ups in the University may be called upon to look into this, considering a young woman was recently killed at UVA by an athlete.

I'm so glad everything I've ever said, has not been held against me. I have told my kids "I'm going to kill you", and I don't even spank them. Welcome to the age of texting, and internets...
It will be important to see if Rainey has committed violence against this girl, they have been dating for 3 yrs.

If she were my daughter the news story would be, "Pissed off father kills UF player in a fashion Ted Bundy is proud of." Not fond of people who try and intimidate women, now if a woman balls up a fist and hits you that's a different story.

I am starting to think that if I was a football coach I would prohibit any of my athletes from having twitter, facebook, or text messaging.
Technology seems to do nothing but get these kids in trouble.
