The schedules are agreed upon by all the university presidents and ADs. So, you need to take it up with them for voting it through.
You mean that landmass institutions don't want to give up games against Vandy and Kentucky? I can't even conceive of why this would be.

Look, a vote was held. LSU's rep participated in the vote along with every other school. The resulting schedule is what you see now. If you don't like that, you a commie.

let's vote on the same schedule format but give the landmass schools Flo Rida and UGA. How do you think the vote turns out?

Otherwise, just give us balance
Unless one can predict the future, this is wholly impossible. There are always teams that fall flat or have unexpectedly great seasons every year. See 2012 Auburn, 2012 Florida, 2012 Arkansas, 2012 Vanderbilt.

That's why there should be no permanents.
Which is senseless. Does the SEC just rotate everyone? Then, by proclamation, some years 'Bama would play Vandy & Kentucky. Other years, they would play Florida & Georgia. Same for everyone else.
Who's to say Vandy and Kentucky are solid that particular year? Who's to say Florida and Georgia won't implode like Auburn did?
The inbalance you're complaining about would be even worse.

Maybe everyone should have voted to allow all of those teams to have bye weeks before Alabama too.

Sure. Explain to me why LSU got stuck with Florida again
Because UF needed an easier team from the west to balance out them having Au when the split/divisions happened in 92 after the first expansion. Then when they decided to rotate 2 LSU got UF because Au wanted to keep UGA . SEC office is close to Au and has a bunch of Au grads working there.

To me, that would be more equitable to all that teams than what we have now. That's fine with me.

It is not uncommon that people say this. The problem isn't just with you not understanding the problem, so I don't blame your confusion. It doesn't need to be equal every year. It has to be equal over time. Balance has to be achieved over time. Institutionalizing imbalance then arguing that it is impossible for everyone to have the same schedule so you shouldn't try, is dumb.
There are plenty of fun ways you could balance the league. One would be an upper and lower division with relegation. That would be a lot of fun. Because of the way a champion is crowned among many other reasons, it will never happen. Wouldn't it be fun for the Iron Bowl to send the loser to the lower division?

UF sure played it right, too. Beat our brains in every year but 1997 from expansion to 2001.

Space dude you just need to admit that the schedule your team plays is easier then most sec teams and gives Bama an unfair advantage by allowing the starters to only play half the game while LSU starters are playing the entire game and this takes a toll on endurance especialy in the latter half of the season. Case in point that last game at A&M where Bama players were not focused and looked tired coming out the gate and it cost them. Also what if bama had played Florida and Georgia before playing Lsu last year. I think Bama would of had 1 more lost if that was the case.

Our schedule seems easier because we are beating the shite out of everyone. LSU only has 2 SECE teams different than what's on our schedule. Some years we play only 1 different some years we play the same. Fact is if we're able to rest out starters vs other SEC teams then y'all need to step it the frick up and do the same or bitch at the others for getting the shite beat down by Bama.

We'd be able to rest our starters too if we played Tennessee every year.

You've lost two games at home in the past two years. One of those losses came to a team that finished SEC West 3. Even a juggernaut can slip up when it plays a top 6 SEC team.

LSU is taking the shaft here but its not going to change a thing....let's just run the schedule so we can talk some shite

Well UT leads the series vs LSU 20-9-3 so from the history of the series (UT dominating)it looks like UT would be the team resting its starters.

Good thing the history of the series has no bearing on future games.
You're a dumbshit.

Yes they do. Since, 2000 we have handled them pretty well. We didn't play them much before that during the 90s.
