Jimbo could sqaush these rumors if he wanted to. He’s going to A&M. If FSU didn’t have a game Saturday he’d already would have accepted the job

At least Jimbo will never have to worry about being cucked by his wife at Texas A&M.

Why he’s 5-6 with a loaded team. He was trending down imo last year and wasn’t worth 7.5m a year which was the same rediculous offer Sexton threw to Lsu. Thank god alleva said no. We would have been married to him for a decade for the same results that O is giving us now.

LSU has such a bright future in the SEC West. Can't wait until these incoming classes over the next few years sink in.

nope, he's going to sit tight and see which offer is best.

FSU is known to be one of the broke premier programs. They don't pay well. This explains how Georgia took their DC for the same position after they won a title. They do not pony up the cash to keep coaches.

That's false. Jeremy Pruitt got caught banging a trainer involved with the program.

Letting a good assistant go elsewhere for that is worse than being cheap IMO

Landry is on 620 AM here in the Tampa Bay area, very informative and easy to listen to. Doesn't spread rumors.

I think nobody who isn't a troll could argue that the "right" coach makes all the difference. Is Fisher the right coach for A&M? No idea. Personally, I would prefer to take a flier on Morris, but then we Aggies have never been fiscally responsible when it comes to Athletics. Once upon a time, we made Sherrill the highest paid coach in football, we paid a huge sum to Franchione, we managed to get roped into an absurd buyout clause for Sumlin ...

It doesn't surprise me at all that we are going after a coach like Fisher with a fistful of cash. What surprises me is that he is definitely interested.

Still, a week of FSU whispering in the ear is a long time

LSU fans didn’t melt over losing Chavis nor worried about competing against Chavis at A&M.

LSU was pissed at Chavis for neglecting his coaching duties in the Music City Bowl game vs ND to cost LSU the victory while instead convincing A&M into giving him the contract LSU didn’t think he was worth. Doubt the majority of Aggies who bragged about Chavis being a huge coop when he was first hired are still singing the praises of Chavis’ hire by A&M today nor want him retained at A&M post-Sumlin. And no LSU fan ever wished for even one day to have Chavis back after he officially resigned from LSU. Instead, LSU fans enjoyed being proven correct about Chavis.

LSU didn’t think Chavis was worth what he wanted to stay at LSU in December 2014. A&M thought Chavis was worth that amount and hired him believing he would be the missing link to solving A&M’s problems competing with LSU. A&M was wrong.

LSU didn’t think Jimbo was worth what he wanted to leave FSU and become the LSU HC in either 2015 nor in 2016. Now A&M reportedly thinks Jimbo is worth that amount, has reportedly offered that amount and thinks Jimbo will be he missing link to solving A&M’s problems competing with LSU. If Jimbo accepts, all shall see if A&M is correct this time.
