To deviate from the topic just a bit. Did anyone notice the rack on the chick behind Mettsiah's mom??? This is not a good picture but during the broadcast there were several good shots of said rack.

Atlanta is not closer to Auburn than Birmingham is to Tuscaloosa. Certainly you are not calling Montgomery major.

That's because Saban would kick his azz to the curb the minute he took the job.

I wouldn't go that far. B'ham has a metro area of over 1 million. The gump's is 375,000.

Let's just cut to the chase. We can all agree that Saban's legacy would be greater if he was winning at a Georgia Tech, Arkansas, UNC or USCe. His legacy would be greater if he had stayed at LSU and continued winning.

We all know that Saban is the best coach in CFB and will have a nice legacy, but drops a few notches on the belt by coaching at Alabama.

First, how the hell does Dye know Chizik is a "better man" than Saban.

Second, if the goal in hiring a football coach to run your 10s of million dollar a business is to hire the "best man" go find a retired marine, teacher, social worker, or some other person who has demonstrated his "goodness."

Third, Dye's self-righteous attitude seems indicative of many Auburn fans. They think they are better people just for the fact that they attended Auburn and/or cheer for Auburn's football team. For some reason they think there is something inherently better about them as people because of this. It's kind of absurd.

Fourth, why does Dye continue to purport to speak for Auburn and keep his nose in Auburn's business so much?

I get depressed just riding past Montgomery on I-65. An old, hot, dirty looking city. I was born there, but quickly moved away.

Perhaps you missed how impressed everyone was that he was the first coach to win titles at two different schools. That is a HUGE bump to his legacy.

Just doesn't make any sense. Why? You've yet to make a valid point why.

Because Alabama has always made winning look so darn easy?

And? So we won a bunch of titles in the 60s and 70s, and one in the 90s. What does that have to do with 2009? Were we winning when Saban got there?
