Gotcha.

Maybe another thread would have been better to make a point in.

Yes and Saban and the team have been volunteering since a few hours after the storms had passed. You don't really see them in pictures. I haven't. They requested not to be photographed.

Yeah, here's video of Saban and his team "requesting not to be photographed," complete with video interview

I'd argue that these guys being photographed/filmed is good because it may encourage their fans to get involved in the relief effort themselves. Isn't that a good way to use whatever fame you have? None of these guys appear to be showboating to me, so let's put aside the pettiness.

I will give them the benefit of the doubt. I believe they are trying to do good, but I wish they would take a hint from their rivals across the state and avoid the cameras. This is not the time to mug for the cameras...

Knowing Chizik, I am sure he asked those guys to come over and take their picture... makes sense.

some of you are sad humans

Also, before anyone accuses me, I am not bashing Chizik here. Just saying what is needed. Another note, if you are an Auburn student driving up to help, DON'T wear Auburn gear, especially if it is a big group of you. It just makes it look like you are here for a thank you and to make Auburn look good instead of to help.

Seriously? In all this. Do you really think the people who need the help could care less what kind of T-Shirt the guys offering help is wearing. Just shows that there are more Updykes out there.

I'm positive the folks they're helping are appreciative of their help. Stand up folks to be helping.

not bashing you here, but you did see they are in cullman and pleasant grove.

the thing is many other areas got hit and they need help. most are focusing on t-town for obvious reasons.

But yes donations are heavily needed

When there is constant news coverage and media around the volunteer work in that area, it's hard not to be in a picture, especially since it's a college football coach volunteering

Agree. Cameras are going to follow them no matter what.

If they were there for the cameras, I'm sure you could see right through it.

They are there to help, just as our coaches/players would be there for them.
