I think MU will be ready for this game. Drink is in CEO mode this time around and the kids are very aware of the visibility this game is getting. They want to shine.
I can't wait to see what special plays Kirby Moore dials up for this one.
It's going to be fun.
Go Tigers!!!

Glad you feel good about it. That’s all that really matters.

Still have a couple key defensive guys that are questionable with injuries (Hopper: LB, Rakestraw: CB).
In today's press conference in Dallas, Drink said that Chad Bailey (LB), Rakestraw and Hopper will all miss tge Cotton Bowl due to their injuries. That's three defensive starters, although to be fair, Bailey missed most of the season anyway.

NY6 got you what again.... a Heisman? Didn't think so.
That's a great idea friend ! Start The Heisman Bowl ! Every Heisman winner would play in it for honor and respect !
Oh wait .....

Is Schrader playing?
He wouldn't miss this game if he had a concussion, 2 broken legs, and a rabies diagnosis.

I agree, he'd be crazy not to go right now. If he does go pro, he'll probably opt out, I would think. That would leave you without Harrison and Fleming, not to mention your QB. Would be very tough...although your defense seemed to be very good this year.
quote:Good luck against FSU.
Good luck to both teams.

I'd rather have the team accomplishments over individual ones. Shocking I know.

Well..... LSU accomplished more than mizzou, because they both playing in a bowl game.... neither are in the CFP.... but LSU had a Heisman winner. Seems easy enough to figure out.... mizzou is sh!t.

Missouri was the SEC's surprise team in hoops last year. What happened?

Gates had too much talent graduate and whiffed on the biggest targets in the portal. Some of the supporting players were asked to change their role. The key season for Gates is ‘25-‘26 since he will have his top 5 class in their sophomore season.

Welcome. And thanks for the civil discourse.
I think our RB Cody Schrader will have to have a great day in order for us to win. Your offense is really good - the best counter is to keep it off the field. Schrader will be the key to that.
Your D line is salty... Because of that I'm reluctant to put too much on our QB. Again this leads back to Schrader doing well. He's really in synch with our O line and hits his holes as well as anyone I've seen in a long time. Woody would love him.
Whoever wins, here's to a good game without any injuries.

We had team leaders last year. Gates had players come with him from Cleveland State and Kobe Brown who had been at Mizzou for 4 years. This year 7 Seniors are walk-on’s or from the portal and 1 JuCo transfer. 2 junior transfers and 1 junior Kobe Brown’s brother who isn’t good enough to play. 1 sophomore and 4 freshman.
Gates has tried different lineups and nobody steps up. Last year we had 3 players that could step up and take a shot. East has his moments
