The accomplishment factor is now gone after this season. All the mid teams will need is just be slightly above mid and win the games they're supposed to and split the others to make the playoffs.
Yes we will have more cool games to watch at the end of the year, but no more avoiding weddings, reunions, anniversaries and even funerals for most of the season. The thing that once made CFB unique and more exciting than every other sport is gone, RIP
