Hogs play LSU, Tenn and Ole Miss in first 3/5 SEC series... should be fun.

I just don't understand why UT is still top 3. I get potential, but they have 3 losses and a poor schedule.

Like at that 10 spot or just outside seems more valid imo

Really, no one is pounding on its pre conference stats except for that alter duo from Tenn. The Gold Star teams in the League, use your own choices, know what a grind the League season is & knows that nothing is really ever determined till the last few weekends of the season. Key injuries have already popped up around the League & no doubt more will follow as the season progresses. Team depth will no doubt have more to say about how a team's season goes than any out of conference stats.

Ah...don't read too much into it. Non-conference is only good for making fun of the teams that do trip up against the likes of Grand Canyon, Boston College or Jacksonville St.

This weekend, the tailgates drop and the bullshite stops!

Man, if only there was a way to make these teams eventually play each other so we could determine who is actually better. If we were able to make that happen, your whole post would be irrelevant.

Crews, Morgan, White, Dugas need to prove themselves in the SEC.

Crews and Morgan have played in the SEC 2 years already, both having been named All-Americans, and Crews being named SECY POY last year. Dugas led the SEC in HRs and RBIs in conference play 2 years ago (was hurt a lot of last year). White hasn't played in the SEC yet, but if you think he has a lot to prove after hitting 27 HRs in the ACC as a freshman a year ago, sure

They all have with the exception of White. The bigger question mark is our starting rotation outside of Skenes.

Tenn meets a quality opponent in Mizzou and fold like a cheap lawn chair.
