I don't have it bookmarked but awhile back when we hired Calipari there was a Mavs blog on his reaction. He's apparently a big UK fan and said he likely would've come to UK if he hadn't of went pro (his Nike Hoops Summit performance solidified the move, ironically Enes Kanter was the one to top it).
Helps to have the bigger bank account sometimes.

I'm not a big fan of the NBA, but I will watch anything involving Charles as a commentator. He's fantastic on camera, keeps things interesting - and that's not easy to do. Just look how awful Shaq was in the playoffs this year - there's no way he can keep his job if he continues to do nothing but yell random shite while other people are talking, then laugh.
Above all, Charles has no filter. He says exactly what he thinks, and that's a hell of a lot of fun to watch.

My other favorite Charles story is the time when he was being heckled or worse in a bar & he did not just punch the guy out, he tossed him thru a plate glass window out into the street. From the 2nd floor.
