It was an upset. Especially taking into account A&M ended up being ranked higher. But upsets happen. They're part of what makes sports great.

There's so many for us to choose from but 2011 team was unreal so I'd choose the game Gracia blew at home against Auburn. We play Shaw that year and we win easily. That D was so stacked...

I'm going off the reservation as an AU fan and NOT say the 2013 BCSCG.

Yes. I sincerely believe that we would have won the championship against Ohio State. OU just had our number and matched up extremely well against us. Our squad that year was absolutely ridiculous, whereas our '13 squad was very good, but I am not sure it would have been good enough to bring home the 'ship. That said, SEC championship > Big 12 championship.

1987 Alabama. Tom Hodson was hurt and Bobby Humphry ran all over us. Cost us SEC that year. Went 10-1-1 finished 5 in AP poll. Could have been as high as 3 behind Miami and Oklahoma .

I feel like all of the State fans that have responded are 16 years old and only remember the last 3 years. There is one response from the Croom Error but changing the outcome of that game doesn't make that team any less shitty.
The only answer for State is the 1998 SEC Championship Game. No other game would guarantee any kind of championship.
