Why the hell would I need a tissue? We won. Go ask your idiot QB if he needs one.

Only in physical size. Certainly not in character.

First of all, I'm not. Second of all, this is the most retarded e-slang word I believe I have ever heard, and it is neither clever nor biting.

I certainly wouldn't go bragging to the sideline reporter after throwing a would-be game winner, that is for sure.

I would act like I've been there before.

Guess I can live with it too. Seein' as how Adams got up first, back in the game first and scored a TD after the hit.

Why, all of a sudden, is it not OK to have something to complain about on this board? That is pretty much what Internet message boards are for....venting.

There is a time and a place for venting, and this is it. The fact that this board has taken to calling people "butt hurt" only indicates the level of maturity here, which is not very high at all.

Oh trust me....I was never on his nuts.

Please. What do you think happens here? If you don't like it you can leave.

quote:

He is a young college QB who is cocky

Which opens him up to criticism, which is completely valid.

And for the record, Mallett is a 21 year old man. He is responsible for his own actions. Furthermore, he is a public figure.

If he doesn't want that kind of attention, he should stop acting like an idiot on national television.

Finally, I just want to point out how ironic it is that you call me "butt hurt," yet it is you who seems to have his panties in a wad about a simply message board comment about your QB, who happened to act like a classless jerk in front of millions of people.

Kettle, meet pot.

Alright, I'm done with you. Time to go do some work.

You are part of that "whole" that makes up this message board.

You had no reason to bash him...

It does piss me off when someone bashes a razorback, I am not denying it.

You are the one claiming class and calling players douches and a jerk.

Get over yourself good sir.

He led with the helmet guys. Take the LSU glasses off.
I just watched it again several times. I personally dont think he "led" with his helmet. If you watch it closely, he lifts his left forearm to deliver the shoulder blow. He does duck his head to his right which may appear that he leans into the WR head, but he doesnt. Another part of the rule that is being overlooked is leaving your feet. His right foot never leaves the ground, you can clearly see that.

Its marginal either way you see it, but my problem is this:
1. The WR dove sidewards towards the contact, he wasnt upright and CJ went head hunting.
2. A ref was literally within 3 yards of them and didnt call anything, the call came from 20+ yards away from the line judge.

You should take another look at the applicable rule. Not leaving his feet has NOTHING to do with the legality of the hit.

Spearing is spearing. You're a homer for even trying to argue about this.

Joe Adams beat your secondary on that play and the only way for Jones to save it was to go for the kill shot. He came in full speed with his helmet aimed at Adams.

I have no problem with them throwing the flag late. For the most part they should let big hits go, but when both players get knocked out and helmets go flying it's an easy call.

The rule is there to protect players.

For the LSU homers:
Adams clearly caught the ball and the only way for Jones to save it was to go for a big hit to knock the ball out.

He wasn't going for a tackle, as Adams was already in the end zone. He was going for a big hit. If helmet to helmet contact is made then that penalty should ALWAYS be called.

It was obvious to the refs that the primary force of the hit was from the helmet of Jones. Both players got knocked out.
