i sincerely doubt CJ gets a suspension, considering there is ample evidence he did not lead with the head, but rather his shoulder.
he did however break the rules in that he hit a defensless player above the shoulders.
so, going by the SEC's punishments this year, i would say at most he not play the first play of the game.
i mean, if attempting to blind a player only gets you 2 quarters, why should you even be disciplined for something as meaningless as a hard hit?

LOL, they bitch about every call that doesn't go their way brah, because LSU never commits penalties and never lost a fair and square game to an opponent. Imagine what they would be saying about that call if the refs make the correct call when Ridley didn't go out of bounds and LSU lost like they deserved.

1. The hit was helmet to helmet. It’s Indisputable.
2. I don't believe the hit was intentional and no suspension is warranted.
3. Jones just wanted to lay the smack-down on Adams and for a moment, it looked like he did.
4. Although Jones initiated the contact, he came out of the collision worse off than Adams did.
5. I wish the Hogs and some DB's that hit like that! Damn!
6. Adams is one tough SOB. The 5' 11" 180 LBS Adams taking a hit like that from the 6' 3" 230 LBS Jones and then catching the go ahead TD pass on 4th down is remarkable.
