Big 4
#1 12-0 Georgia
#2 12-0 Michigan
#3 12-0 TCU
#4 11-1 USC

However, all must still play their CCG's ands "what if" ALL 4 lose?

Georgia loses to #11 LSU in Atlanta
Michigan loses to NR Purdue in Indianapolis
TCU loses to #13 Kansas State (sans Snyder) in JerryWorld
Southern Cal loses to #12 Utah in Las Vegas

What 4 schools make the CFP considering no current undefeated team would have won their CCG?

If all four lose, USC is out and Ohio State is in, but nothing else changes

I think the B1G pushes hard to get 2 in to stay in the media. TCU may be the most at risk. Southern Cal is a big state with lots of eyeballs and a brand name.

I wonder if all 4 lose if it plays out like this ...

#1 Michigan
#2 Georgia
#3 Ohio State
#4 Southern Cal

Vols are deader than they hope

ACC lost all hope with both CCG struggling late

If all 4 lose

1) 12-1 Georgia, 2) 12-1 Michigan, 3) 12-1 TCU, 4) 11-1 Ohio State

5) Alabama 10-2 6) USC 11-2

Georgia and Michigan are in regardless.

If either TCU or USC lose, Ohio State is in.

If both TCU and USC lose, Bama is also in.

This is my bet. TCU will not get benefit of the doubt if they lose, and Bama will slide in. And Tenn fans will be pissed.

bama is not in regardless of any scenario you can come up with. They have a 0.0% chance. None. Zero whatsoever.

TCU is in regardless. They aren’t punishing TCU for playing in their conference title game and their resume is still better than OSU or AL with a loss. The only thing at stake this weekend is seeding and whether OSU or USC makes the playoff.

that's what people don't seem to grasp. They think it's the coaches poll where "oh well you lost, that means YOU MUST MOVE DOWN NOW".

Teh committee does a phenomenal job at taking an entire resume as a whole into account. A 12-1 TCU will still have a much better resume than a 10-2 alabama that didn't win shite. So what if they lose but remain at 3? Their resume is better than OSU's too.

Disagree.

I think TCU would have to be obliterated in their game to be out. Anything short of that and they’re still in.

You must not know the CFP committee.

I think the committee uses logic that most folks wouldn't consider logical, so I don't rule out anything - but I acknowledge that the scenarios required for anyone below Ohio State to get in are patently absurd.

I will say that if all 4 teams lose, my thoughts are this for seeding:

1. Georgia
2. Michigan (UM below UGA because UM would be losing to an unranked team, UGA would be losing to a top 12 team)
3. TCU
4. Ohio State

The only alternative to that, IMHO, is the following:
1. Michigan
2. Georgia
3. Ohio State
4. TCU

I think they'll force OSU/UM to both win in order to get a "single conference" championship game (like in 2017 and 2021).

What if TCU gets blown out by K State something like 42-10?

I don't think any of these teams can really play their way out, except maybe USC.

If USC gets beat by Utah by double digits, they might put in Ohio State, but I figure that the field is mostly set. They probably should have made Ohio State 4th, rewarding USC if they win in a 13th game by moving them ahead of the Buckeyes.

Agree completely! As much as I want to play the Pug Dogs and put a beatdown on those arrogant muts & their pompous fans, the entire free world would love another o$u/Michigan game. The SEC thinks they're hot sh!t, but the ratings say OTHERWISE:

According to FOX, 17+ million people watched Michigan-Ohio State.

That’s more than:
-Every NBA Finals and NBA game
-Every World Series and MLB game
-Every Stanley Cup and NHL game
-The Rose Bowl, Kentucky Derby, The Masters, the Indy 500 and the Daytona 500.

If it's o$u and Michigan, then Round 2 it is!
