I don't get why people are still touting the sips as some sort of NC contender. Have they not proven to the Phil Steele's of the world by now that their QB is average at best (and I mean at best), and that their defense sucks worse than a Hoover vacuum cleaner? Since they return both their QB & most of their defense, I just don't get it. Until they prove otherwise to me, I don't see them being any better than an 8-4 type of team.

Meh, nothing crazy. I wouldn't have Mizzou ranked....maybe outside of the top 25, but inside of the top 35.

Fla State...they are ranked high ever year only to disappoint. I know they are high on Winston but will they get over the "trap" game they lose every year it seems this year?

This website always love Mizzou. It must have a bunch of J-School grads working for them. Number 24 I'll take it. 5-0 start not out of the question until trip to Athens.

MSU is not the 7th in the west they're ahead of Ark and Au until proven otherwise this season. It could very well turn. out that they're the worst in the west but no way should they be ranked below Au or Ark preseason.

FSU too high SC too low. I think SC will win the east this year. Fla does not seem to have the offense to be a top ten team unless they really put it together this year which they could. Did Florida lose a lot on defense? I know Georgia did.
