Yeah, on offense. Lord have mercy on your defense when we get to Knoxville.

Our secondary is suspect, but our defensive line is going to punish Bryce Young all game long.
It's not going to be as easy as a defensive matchup as you would think.

Nobody watching football for the last 25 years would even know that to be true

You just gave up 600 yards to a Florida team that struggled against South Florida and lost to Kentucky, at home.
Hint: This ain't Florida that's coming to visit.

Shhh! Don't tell them that. Let them have all the hope and false bravado for when they play us. It will make it a lot more fun when we beat that arse.

half their points and yards came in the last 2 minutes when we played prevent and took the peddle off the gas. It was 38-21 until our coaches were stupid and played not to lose. We might not beat you but it will be a good game

bullshite. There will never be a time in vol's history under this HUNH scheme where your defense isn't going to be left hanging against elite offensive teams. And BAMA is bringing an offense ranked 6th in the nation.
The difference is Einstein, they also are bringing a defense ranked #2 in the nation.

Well we have mustard bottles and a rowdy crowd ready to give you fits

Because we game planned to make them one dimensionsal and gave AR very soft zone coverage the entire game.
You can bet we will turn the dogs loose on BY much like we did against Pitt's Slovis.
Florida is our only statistically bad game so far defensively and AR is the type of talent who can beat any defense when he is playing to his physical potential. Also, our game planned worked and we stopped the Florida ground game.

I alwasy hate posts like this becuase they are so wildly incorrect. CFB doesn't "need" any team, what it needs is parity. I guarandamntee you that in the 90s when UF and UT were smacking the rest of the league around for about a decade there were folks saying "man the SEC really needs bama to be good again" and now look at where we are. I guarantee you that back in pete carroll's heyday when it looked like nobody else in the pac could ever hope to challenege USC again, nobody would ever guess that 15 years later we'd be saying "man CFB really needs USC to be good again".
It gets old watching bama/OSU/clemson be in teh top 5 every single year. UT being down has nothing to do wiht that though. Pepole would love it for ANYONE new to start challenging those teams regularly. IT has nothing to do with tennessee.

Well, it didn't work. This one-dimensional approach you speak about is to take away the run and make them pass. Florida had almost 150 yards rushing and then Richardson threw for 453 yards. That's over 100 yards more passing than Hooker had in the game.
Florida may have your number since time-indefinite but the team you beat Saturday wasn't anything to write home about in the SEC.

Yes. I know it's strange from a Bama fan but UT is my second favorite team. I look forward to them getting back up to par.

Their wondering through the desert has contributed to the SECE being a joke.

Florida has been the main cog in the overrating machine as of late.
Step 1: Beat an overrated Utah team at home, and somehow launch from UR to near Top 10
Step 2: Have Kentucky beat a now overrated Florida team at home, thus skyrocketing them into the Top 10.
Step 3: Now have Tennessee beat a somehow still ranked Florida at home, and use it as a means to loft up Tennessee's ranking

It actually did work. Stats are not pretty but the end result was the desired one. VOLS won.

ANY strong team in the East is a welcome thing to at least give a hint that GA actually has to work to make it to Atlanta. Whether TN is strong remains to be seen, but they are BETTER than they used to be.
