Lunardi tweeted out his 'bubble' this morning with his last eight in and first eight out.

Lunardi has Tennessee in and they're 16-11 right now with two bad losses to aggy. They're not close to being safely in the field of 64.

Nobody is saying they're safely in. Lunardi has them as the second to last team in.

You used Lunardi as an authority on this subject.
I cited his stance on Tennessee to illustrate that Lunardi has lost his damn mind.

No, I mentioned espn's projections just like you mentioned CBS. Lunardi is usually close to spot on. He also doesn't have Tennessee 'safely' in as you 'cited.' Either way, it's a fluid situation with three weeks left so who cares really? Tennessee has the best non-conference win of the SEC teams by blowing out Virginia. Their RPI is eleven spots better than Arkansas as well.

lets face it. the level of play in this conference still isn't very good. when about 5 teams need to finish strong just to have a chance to get on the bubble it doesn't bode well. I hope we end up with 4 or 5 teams but the reality is that we probably don't deserve that many.

Tennessee does have that one win, but they also haven't beaten any of the top two league teams and have two losses to a team in the bottom 3 of league RPI. Their losses are worse than Arkansas.
Arkansas also has a RPI top 25 OOC win in SMU beating them by 11. Minnesota, for now, is a solid resume win for Arkansas along with a win over Kentucky. Of course a road win at UK tomorrow night would move Arkansas way up the ladder.
Arkansas should finish league play 4-1. This puts them at 21 wins and an ESPN BPI somewhere in the lower 20's or high 30's.

Mizzou should handle Minnesota.

I think at the end of the day the SEC gets 3 teams in. UK and UF obviously, and one other from the Mizzou., Tenn., Ark., LSU group. Each of those teams can't seem to get out of their own way. Right now I would rank the teams in terms of odds of making the NCAAT in this order: Mizzou, Ark., Tenn., LSU. However, as fans of these teams know, they have each shown the ability to lose to anyone on any given night. LSU and Ark. have the toughest remaining schedules of the 4, and thus the best OPPORTUNITY for boosting their resumes. A win by Ark @ UK or LSU @ UF (though not likely) would be a huge boon for each of their chances. Tenn and Mizzou cannot lose before their matchup to end the season which could turn into a de facto elimination game.

We haven't won a quality game since we beat UCLA back in December. I'm sure we deserve the NIT.

Nope. And we don't deserve to.

I think the "bracketologists" just feel the need to have more than 2 teams from the SEC, regardless of how good they are...because nobody besides UK and UF deserves to even be in the conversation.
