First of all let me say I am sorry to hear he will end his career this way. I wish him success and happiness in his future endeavors. Secondly I am sure Old Kirby is smart enough to come up with something? Perhaps, the wishbone or split T?

Kirby is probably leading a group therapy session with his entire team / staff. They are dealing with their emotions with no plans for the future.
