Beck was playing much better late, his receivers just keep dropping the ball, but he’s not getting unlucky on those drops where they turn into tipped ball picks. Hes a bigger loss than people will admit. That being said the energy shift when Gunner came in was huge. We will see if that translates into the playoffs

I agree. I don’t care if he’s the second coming of Mahomes, he’s young and inexperienced. I’m confident we can get it together for him because we’ve done it before…we’ll just need to step up in the run game.

Also need to drill into his head he’s not a fullback and needs to get down or OB when running. We cannot afford him to get blasted multiple times during the game.

I think Gunner can equally lead this team to victory. We all saw how pumped the players were.

Can’t tell if this is a happy post or just an FYI post.

They will obviously have to adjust the offensive playbook for him, he ain’t logging 300 yards passing any time soon, but if we lean on what should be healthier by then RBs and our defense, we can absolutely make a run with Gunner. It won’t be flashy but a W is a W.

They need to be removed from the playoffs.

So you are saying that you don’t really know and you probably won’t know until Georgia plays.

For whatever reason, fair or not, Beck does seem to give off bad body language. Not quite as bad as Jay Cutler but he does to improve in this area.

I think it’s frustration. His receivers have let him down time and time again. That first half in the SECCG was horrendous with Arian Smith and Dillon Bell dropping crucial passes. We should’ve scored more if they’d catch the ball. It’s been like that all year and a big reason why I think he struggled so much midway through the year. The last few games he just kept firing whether the receivers would catch the ball or not

I still haven’t seen this from a credible source. No one has stated if it’s grade 1 or grade 2. If it was grade 3, full tear he would have already had surgery

It is a torn UCL. Trust me. Beck's out. Gunner's in.

Going to be interesting to see if Beck comes back next year. Seems like he could use a rebound year to improve his draft stock much like Quinn Ewers.

In the current format, the SECCG is useless and needs to be eliminated. Beck tore his shoulder in a game that cost Georgia more than it was worth. Who cares if you get a 1st round bye when you lose your 1st round NFL draftee QB.

Won’t happen. Was the most watched game of the season so far which = $$$. And we all know that’s what drives every decision these days in CFB

Speaking of rumors, did you hear the one about Arch Manning leaving Texas?

With Gunner, you're going to see a much different offense.

The play-calling changed when Gunner entered the game in the 2nd-half. The play calling was the biggest change I noticed. Bobo did not call the same kind of game with Gunner as he did with Beck.

But, Gunner's a totally different QB when compared with Beck. He does not have all of the physical tools as a passer that Beck possesses, but Beck does not have the tools Stockton does as a runner, either.

We have just three weeks to grow into this new offense, but the team and coaches are ready for it. I pray it goes well for us.

IDK about that, watching him throw impressed me, he zipped a few tight spirals on out routes to the sidelines that looked great. The INT was just a mental mistake from an inexperienced QB. I'm optimistic about Georgia's chances with Gunner in there, if they win the first game he will get better each game going forward.

Beck has fallen off a great deal from that early season projection, as did Nuss at LSU. He is no longer a lock for the first round, and none of the recent mock drafts have him going day 1. While it is silly to think the backup is better, the fact a lot of UGA fans aren't completely freaking out about this speaks a to his performance for them this season.
